All about him.I want to hold him closeAll about him. by TheMexicanofWisdom
The one I care for most
He could send me down to the ground
And shatter my dreams in the speed of sound
I dare not look in his eyes
For fear of what they might find
Deep in my soul I wither in pain
And await for the day when we can lay
Next to the bay in the western coast
Sippin' some tea n' munchin on toast
Him teasing me oh so dearly
His smile so big his teeth so pearly
Just lean in closer a little more
Just let me kiss your once more
And let our souls touch fingertips
As they fly up in the sky to soar
I want to hold him close
The one I love the most
But I dare not for I know his force
His mighty sword shoots me down
So I simply smile and caress his arm
And he walks away unalarmed
And till this day I hold him close
Not in my arms but in my soul
Jack And The Beanstalk RetoldJack And The BeanstalkJack And The Beanstalk Retold by TheMexicanofWisdom
Retold by: Maria Chavez
In the quiet small town of Kaycee, Wyoming there lived a young schizophrenic man named Jack. Recently a man had moved into the town who was said to have magic, and that had some magical beans that would lead anyone to a giant’s layer where there was an untold amount of riches. As soon as Jack heard of this he went out in search of the man, to try and negotiate a deal for the magic beans. He found out were the man lived and as he was on his way to the man’s’ home he ran into him in a dark alley way between two shops. “Hello Jack,” said the magic man hiding his face deep in his hooded jacket.
“Hey,” said Jack wringing his hands nervously, “I, uh, heard you, uh, had some, um, you know.” He made magic gestures with his hands. The magic man laughed and searched in his pockets.
“I do indeed have some stuff you might be interested in.” he said taking out a little zip-lock bag
UnseenWe were secret sisters, you and I,Unseen by FlickeringCandle
walking in ivy that crept up our legs.
We'd raise our hands, outstretched arms
reaching for the out-of-reach.
No one ever gave you smiles
that they stole from the sun
except for me,
but why would we care if they turned a blind eye?
Oh, what a pair we were those days,
the clearest figure in each others haze.
But some can't see the simple things,
they laughed at you, tore up your wings,
wore your voice down every day,
until you were a mutterer,
I told the others as you faded away,
pleaded to save you, to help you to stay;
imagine the shock as they turned pale grey,
as they grabbed you, screaming, calling you names,
criminal, monster, poisoner, witch:
as if you'd ever bring me down.
No, you were my medicine,
my anchor to keep the deep away.
But now my twin has been kidnapped,
taken up with the setting sun.
They tell me I am better now,
the cancer gone, me free.
They say I should be happy now,
now they have answers to their questions.
